Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Governing Committee Members for the 2025–2030 Tenure
The oath-taking ceremony of the members of the Poothrikka Grama Panchayat Governing Committee for the 2025–2030 term was held at the Grama Panchayat Office on 21 December 2025.During the ceremony, the Returning Officer, Mr. Joshy Varghese, Tahsildar (Land Records), Kunnathunad Taluk, administered the oath of office to Mr. John Joseph, the senior-most member of the Governing Committee representing Ward No. 2 – Vadayampady. Thereafter, Mr. John Joseph administered the oath of office to the other newly elected members of the Governing Committee in ward-wise order, following which they officially assumed their responsibilities.Having earned the trust and confidence of the people, the new Governing Committee commenced its tenure with a commitment to providing transparent, people-oriented, and development-focused governance. The Committee also reaffirmed its dedication to the overall development of the village by ensuring the effective implementation of welfare schemes, promoting cleanliness, protecting the environment, strengthening social welfare initiatives, and working in close partnership with the people.

The first meeting of the 2025–2030 Governing Committee of Poothrikka Grama Panchayat was held under the chairmanship of the senior-most member, Mr. John Joseph.
