1. Introduction
As per Section 10 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, the Delimitation Commission initiated proceedings for the redetermination of election wards in Poothrikka Grama Panchayat of Ernakulam District.
After examining the complaints and suggestions received following the publication of the draft proposals, the final notification was published.
A total of 16 wards have been fixed in the Panchayat.
