To ensure that the final rites, which mark the last stage of human life, are carried out with dignity, cleanliness, and environmental responsibility, the Poothrikka Grama Panchayat has established a Gas Crematorium. Operated with modern technology, this facility provides a faster, cleaner, and more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cremation methods.

Considering public needs, the crematorium has been organized in a manner that enables easy access and utilization by the general public. Along with ensuring fuel efficiency, pollution control, and safe operation, necessary facilities have also been arranged for the family members of the deceased. As part of its social responsibility initiatives, this project implemented by the Panchayat contributes significantly to public health protection and environmental conservation.

The gas crematorium, owned and managed by the Poothrikka Grama Panchayat, provides modern and eco-friendly cremation services to the public. Special rates have been fixed to ensure quality services at affordable costs for Panchayat residents.
