Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act, 2005)

The Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act, 2005) is a law enacted by the Government of India to provide citizens with access to information regarding the functioning of government offices and public sector institutions. The primary objective of this Act is to ensure transparency and accountability in governance.

In Poothrikka Grama Panchayat

In accordance with the Right to Information Act, 2005, Poothrikka Grama Panchayat has designated a Public Information Officer (PIO) and an Appellate Authority to facilitate access to information for the public.

Citizens seeking information may submit an application in the prescribed format and obtain the required information in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
