Planning Committee

The Planning Committee is responsible for preparing development plans for the overall progress of the Grama Panchayat and providing guidance for their implementation. The committee plays a vital role in formulating annual plans and development projects by considering the needs of the people and the development priorities of the Panchayat.

Main Functions

  • Prepare the annual development plan of the Panchayat.
  • Assess development needs in various sectors such as agriculture, health, education, drinking water, roads, etc.
  • Formulate projects with public participation.
  • Coordinate government schemes with local requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of development activities.

Objective

To improve the quality of life of local residents and ensure the sustainable development of the Panchayat.
